We wish to express our sympathy to two dietitian families for their recent losses. Over the July 4th holidays, Shirley Halford and Roberta Sitter-Russell both passed away. Shirley was a dietitian at Baptist Central for 30 + years prior to her retirement several years ago. She was 75 yrs young. Roberta was 72 and had continued to work as a lactation consultant for the Health Dept. Prior to going to work at the Health Dept., Roberta was very active in the Consultant Dietitian Group here in Memphis and worked as a consultant in private practice. Both of these ladies were wonderful individuals contributing much to our profession through their compassion for dietetics and their compassion for their patients. (7/7)
