Clinical Dietitian (2 Positions Available)
Overview and Responsibilities:
- Provides
Medical Nutrition Therapy to all patients according to Nutrtion Care Process in adherence to Policies and Procedures
- Serves as a Nutrition resource to hospital staff, BMHCS, and the community.
- Assists in the direction of clinical support staff by coordinating and providing leadership.
Knowledge or protocol methods of BMH are normally acquired by a 2-4 week orientation. The incumbent
is under the general direction of the CDirector, Assistant Director or Designee and is responsible for clinical servies of
BMH 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Some overtime and callback is required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education required:
Completion of program meeting requirements leading to registration by the Commission on Registration of The American Dietetic
Association
Special Skills required: Basic computer literacy
skills required
License Minimum required: RD, STATE LICENSE
AS REQUIRED, LD Registration (or registry eligible) by the Commission on Registration of The American Dietetic Association.
Registry eligible personnel must obtain registration within one (1) year to retain employement as a
Clincal Dietitian. License as an LD by State of MS must be obtained within one (1) year in ordere to retain employment
as a Clinical Dietitian.
